The brand

Elevated and minimal, not trying to shout. The slogan is lowercase with a full stop, “still working.”, hidden inside the chest print of every first-drop piece.

What's built

• Wordmark set in a light weight with widened letter spacing, and a consistent black-and-white photographic grade across everything posted
• Backend on Shopify, with fiftyeight.co as the storefront domain and core58/sport58 as forwarding sub-lines
• First drop planned as core58 only: a heavyweight hoodie, sweatpants, and a t-shirt, in black, stone, and grey
• fiftyeight.co.uk registered separately, purely to protect the brand

The name

58 comes from a personal connection to a cousin's family, not a random number. It's the kind of detail that only means something once you know it.
